I've change my mind, you are completely correct. Just as the French would be appalled if a person gave a speech in front of the Eiffel Tower. You know, Hitler and the Nazis put a German flag and swastika at the top, and it also is a symbol of the worst point in history. Why it was build is irrelevant.

he added like 2 meters in height, that was the only change. You are so ignorant. It was moved to be one of the central monuments in the newly proposed German Capital, but the Germans in no way view it as a monument of Hitler. Have you even been to Germany, do you know Germans? It was a strong symbol of unity for the Prussians, a large state consisting of several different ethnic groups (mostly german), before Germany was a country. How it was originally built is not irrelevant. Ask a German.

Your comments just show how ill informed you are, what the monument was originally built for is irrelevant Hitler modified it and used it to illustrate his superiority and dominance over Europe and became a symbol of the worst point in history not only for Germans but the world. For you to think it's actually a symbol of unity. |
