Okay... read....Recap: Shawna got a cut and when Nick went to help he found bruises. Not only did she have an inch long cut oozing blood, she had countless bruises. Bruises that were NOT caused by Joe's stupid lamp. Bruises that were caused by a person. "Shawna who-" I wanted to ask who did this. I was pretty sure I knew but I still wanted to ask."Nicky not right now. Please. We can talk about that later." She looked desperate. She pleaded me with her eyes. I sighed then cleaned her cut. That lamp got her pretty good. I applied the gauze then bent down and picked up her shirt. She turned around and I handed it to her. She slipped it on. Then she hugged me. I couldn't hug back. What if I squeeze to hard then I hurt her? Shawna sighed and pulled away. I grabbed her hand and walked out of the bathroom and into my room. I closed the door then sat her down on the bed. I sat next to her and stared at the ground."Who?" I think I know... but things might have changed since then..."My dad..." She wasn't crying yet but I could tell she would. She sounded so hurt and sad. I grabbed her hand."When?" She let out a sob."Two days ago. Wednesday." She let out another sob. I'm surprised she isn't breaking down right now. "How many times?" She let out another sob and I put my arm around her."Only this time and the time you found out before." It's not common that people only do it every once in a while. But Shawna wouldn't lie...right?*************FLASH ACK*********A/N: Shawna is 12. Nick is 11. They are in the beginning of fifth grade.... a.k.a. the year that they fought for four months and she became friends with Jenny. Frankie is 3. Joe is 14. "Shawna your it!!!!" I tagged her then ran away. She will never catch me! I'm as fast as the red ranger!!! "No fair Nicky! Your faster than me!" She is right. I am lightning!"Yes I am. Which is why you will never catch me! Mwa hahaha!" Okay, maybe the evil laugh was a little overboard. I continued to run and she continued to chase me. After a few minutes she wasn't behind me anymore. "Did you give up Shawna?" I looked around and then saw her lying on the porch crying with her leg bleeding. I ran over and looked at her leg. Okay, just a scrape good."What happened Shawna?" She stopped crying and looked up at me."I was running after you then I tripped over that stupid brick." She pointed to a brick that was laying randomly on the porch. "Why is there a brick on the porch?" We don't have any bricks in our back yard." I have no idea Nick! And I don't care! Get off your butt and go get me a freaking band aid!" Wow, no need to be so mean. I sighed then walked inside to go get the first aid kit. I came back out and Frankie was lying next to Shawna crying. Oh great. What now?"Shawn Shawn is dying! Somebody help. No die Shawn Shawn!" He is so cute. He really loves Shawna too. "Frankie I'm not dying just a booboo. I will be okay." She always makes him feel better. He smiled then she smiled back at him. "Yeah Franks, I will take care of her. Look... all she needs is a band-aid." I pulled out a band-aid and walked over to Shawna. I didn't put it on yet because Joe walked out the door. "Has anybody seen my brick?" He looked around the porch and then he spotted it."BRICKY!!!!" He ran to it and picked it up. Why does he have a brick?"Why do you have a brick?" Joe looked at me confused then laughed."Why do you have curly hair?" He is stupid."I was born with it Joe" Ha. Let's see his response to that. "Yeah but you don't need it. You just have it, same with Bricky. He is my pet that I don't need, duh. I guess he ran away when I took him for a walk" I looked at Joe like he was a lunatic. Well, he is one."Okay Joe...well be careful where you put your bricks because they like to trip people." I pointed to Shawna who was waiting for her band-aid and talking about Thomas the Tank Engine with Frankie. Joe looked at her and then he saw her leg. He started laughing because she was hurt... then his face got really serious."You tripped over my Bricky!? You could have hurt him! How dare you!" With that he stormed into the house. How are we related?Shawna stared after him then rolled her eyes."Nick can I get that dang band-aid now?" Oh yeah... The band-aid.A/N: 3 or 4 parts. i will post them but after that no more until sweetie gets 10 subbers!!!!Flash back continued in next part.
